My name is Saifullah, my birth name is Marcus Wright. I am a Muslim revert of 18 months and a qualified fitness coach of 6 years experience, training people from all walks of life. I am currently based in Blackpool, Lancashire. UK.
As a Muslim revert and fitness expert I have a unique insight into the importance of balancing a life in accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) whilst nurturing a dedication to the development of physical, mental and spiritual strength.

What sets SHIFA SHIFT apart from OTHER training systemS?
A comprehensive programme covering all aspects of physical, spiritual and mental well-being, based upon six original pillars of improvement.
THE SIX PILLARS:
Six cornerstones that cover all aspects of our lives as Muslims.
Through weekly accountability calls, individualised training and diet plans and bespoke self-development resources, Shifa shift provides you constant tools for your spiritual and physical evolution.
1) 10 minutes of Islamic learning or self-development based-reading, everyday, with resources provided each week.
2) 30 minutes of deep, distraction-free, self-focused work each day.
3) 45 minutes of daily exercise. Including training days and active recovery days. The type of exercise will vary day to day, and work around your lifestyle and means. This will all be discussed during our consultation call and each subsequent weekly check-in.
4) Sticking to a meal-oriented diet, and limiting snacking to once a day. I take care of this and help each design a weekly diet.
5) 5 minutes of daily grounding or stretching, preferably both. With new stretch routines provided each week.
6) 5 minutes post prayer-reflection. Sitting with thoughts of our good deeds, repenting for our sins and remembrance of Allah. Mapping out how to go about the next day.
Building IMAN, NOT JUST BODIES:
Shifa is about more than physical health, it’s about living a lifestyle that is being blessed by Allah with spiritual wellness, mental clarity and purpose. I built my training system around offering the structure to achieve this.
This is more than a simple weekly workout routine and diet plan; I care intensely about helping deepen your connection to Allah SWT, and strengthening our Ummah. I believe this is why Allah brought me to the straight path when he did. That is why I built the six pillars. To keep myself, and my community accountable before their creator.
Each week I plan and provide new resources for members to carry out the 6 pillars. This ensures we are each staying on track in our Deen, with our workouts and building resilience against the ever-present challenge posed by sin and temptation within our society.
I’ve seen both sides of the coin:
I reverted to Islam 18 months ago. I came from a place where the cautious prohibitions of Islam were largely unheard and there was no understanding of worldly, or after this-worldly consequence.
I have seen what living a sinful, reckless life, lacking structure does to our spirit and drive as men. I therefore understand deeply the importance of fortifying the mind, body and soul against the constant threat of sin and temptation within society.
Things changed, Allah brought me to the straight path, my time had come.
I gave up the things that were holding me back, in the name of Allah. Alhamdulillah. I am ready to bring the system I have lived by to others to create strong, productive men humbled before their creator.
